Orientation

Orientation plays an important role in ensuring that you receive and understand the information you need and want to succeed in your new position. Our commitment to a thorough orientation will assist in your long-term success and career development at WellSpan.

All employees attend a two-day orientation to introduce them to our organization. This information includes all education required by regulatory agencies to provide an effective and safe patient care and work environment.
Most clinical areas provide additional days of orientation. Your manager will coordinate your department specific orientation.

Continuing Education

WellSpan encourages all staff members to continue their personal and professional development through continuing education. Opportunities are provided through internally developed and sponsored programs as well as through support for staff to attend external conferences and seminars that support on-the-job performance. Staff members can also utilize the tuition reimbursement program to pursue formal education and training.
